The Can Vich 2017 is a heavenly coupage of aromatic varietals: Garnatxa Blanca, Riesling and Parellada. In the valley of Mediona, framed by a leafy mountain range in D.O. Penedès, the wine is made in an old farmhouse using traditional techniques. Can Vich is aged on the lees in acacia barrels for four months.
Pale yellow in colour, Can Vich is reminiscent of a fine Riesling from Alsace, but with the styling of native Catalan grapes such as the Parellada. You’ll enjoy delicate stone fruit and floral aromas, with a long and fruity palette. Its heady aromas and balanced acidity make this wine too easy to drink!
Pair this wine with full-fat cheeses or creamy aromatic dishes: think chicken, seafood and thai curry.
