Classed as a young red wine with barrel ageing (10 months), Dèria 2016 is basically a classic example of what you’ll get from a DOQ Priorat wine. It’s a coupage of Garnatxa Negra, Shiraz, Merlot and Samsó grape varietals, grown in the characteristic licorella slate soil.
Dèria 2016 is a full-bodied wine, with well-rounded tannins and a silky mouthfeel. You’ll enjoy blackberry, currant and anise aromas, also some underlying minerality thanks to the metamorphic rock terroir.
This wine can take on the best game dishes and mountain herbs. It also pairs deliciously with a calçotada, romesco and butifarra!
